Swimming Pool Rules
We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour at the swimming pool and ask all of our parents and pupils to support us in upholding our swimming pool rules for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Walk only, no running around poolside, changing rooms, or in the school.
No jewellery to be worn during a lesson.
No food is allowed on poolside or in the changing rooms.
No littering - please use the bins provided, or take it home with you.
If you need to speak to your child’s teacher, please do so at a convenient moment either prior to, or after the lesson.
If you would like to take a photo or record your child swimming, please inform your child’s teacher, so this can be organised at the end of the lesson. This is to ensure other children are not in the same area.
Siblings and other children that are waiting for a lesson or are spectating are to sit quietly with their responsible adult and not disturb the lessons in progress.
If your child needs to eat before they swim, please make sure it’s only a light snack and at least an hour or more before their lesson.
Children under eight must be accompanied to the toilet. Please ensure that your child has flushed the toilet after they have used it.
